  • The national minimum wage in the UK for international students is the same as the one for the country’s residents. It is the same for part-time as well as full-time employees. The national minimum wage rates are:
  • 18 to 20 age group – £6.56 per hour
  • 21 to 22 age group – £8.36 per hour
  • 23 and over age group – £8.91 per hour
  • International students who have successfully completed an undergraduate or master’s degree can apply to stay in the UK for up to two years after their studies.
  • PhD graduates can apply to stay for up to three years.
